Mining Museum Invests in People
21/06/2007The Scottish Mining Museum has retained its Investors In People (IiP) standard. The IiP standard was developed in 1990 and is the national award that sets a level of good practice for training and development of staff to achieve the goals of the organisation.
Fergus Waters, Director of the museum in Newtongrange said: "I am delighted that we have retained the standard at the museum. This is a testament to the commitment and enthusiasm of all of our staff and their determination to optimse each visitor's experience. Everyone in the organisation is passionate about their job and talks with pride about what they do."
