The Scottish Mining Museum has an excellent licensed business and function facility - The Old Power House - which offers a truly unique venue for any event, from meetings to conferences, parties to weddings. We can even offer specially tailored tours/ghost tours for your guests.
The elegant Power House is particularly strong in character, featuring an impressive 18th-century beam engine and large Victorian windows.
Our in-house caterers can provide menus to suit all tastes and you could really wow your guests with a drinks reception on the pithead - where miners once descended hundreds of feet into the darkness of the Lady Vic!
